Your Portfolio Lab — Terms of Use

1. Overview

Your Portfolio Lab (“the Service”) provides tools to help photographers analyze, refine, and sequence their images into portfolio edits.

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Use of the Service

You may use the Service for personal or professional purposes.

You agree not to:

  • upload content you do not have rights to use

  • use the Service for unlawful purposes

  • attempt to interfere with or disrupt the system

3. User Content

You retain full ownership of any images you upload.

By uploading content, you grant us permission to:

  • process your images to generate portfolio builds

  • temporarily store and display your images within your account

We do not claim ownership of your content.

4. AI-Generated Results

The Service provides automated analysis, scoring, and suggestions.

These results are:

  • subjective

  • for guidance only

  • not guaranteed to be accurate or suitable for all purposes

You are responsible for how you use the results.

5. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

You agree to provide accurate information and not share your account access.

6. Subscriptions, Refunds, and Cancellation

Subscription Plans. Your Portfolio Lab offers Monthly and Annual subscription plans. Pricing is shown on the Billing page within your account.

No Refunds. All subscription fees are non-refundable, including:

  • Annual plans: Non-refundable in full once purchased. The discounted annual rate is offered in exchange for a twelve-month commitment.

  • Monthly plans: Non-refundable. You may cancel at any time to stop future billing; no prorated refund is issued for the unused portion of a billing cycle.

  • One-time purchases (Pay As You Go, Top-Ups, Storage Add-Ons): Non-refundable. These purchases grant immediate access to additional portfolios or storage.

60-Day Annual Upgrade Credit. If you upgrade from a Monthly plan to an Annual plan within sixty (60) days of your initial Monthly signup, we will apply a credit equal to the Monthly amounts you have paid during that window toward your first Annual subscription fee. Upgrades made after the 60-day window are billed using standard prorated billing without additional credit.

Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Billing page. Cancellation stops future billing but does not entitle you to a refund of fees already paid. Your subscription remains active through the end of the current billing period.

Portfolio Retention After Cancellation. Following cancellation, your portfolios and associated data will remain accessible for twelve (12) months from the cancellation date. We will send a reminder email before any data is removed. To preserve your portfolios beyond this period, reactivate your subscription before the retention window closes.

Renewals. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current rate. Renewal charges are non-refundable. To prevent renewal, cancel before your renewal date.

Price Changes. We may adjust subscription pricing with at least thirty (30) days' notice before your next renewal. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new rate.

7. Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

We may:

  • update or modify features

  • suspend or discontinue parts of the Service

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is.”

We are not liable for:

  • decisions made based on results

  • loss of data (although we take reasonable steps to prevent this)

  • indirect or consequential damages

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.

You may stop using the Service at any time.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service means you accept any changes.
